Jibri reveals he quit a high-paying job to become a musician

90 Day Fiancé cast member Jibri Bell recently took to Instagram to share that he quit a high-paying job in Chicago to pursue his music instead.

New 90 day fiance Star Jibri Bell recently shared on social media that he quit a high-paying job to pursue his dream of being a musician. Jibri appears on 90 day fiance season 9 alongside his Serbian fiancée Miona Bell. The two fell in love and got engaged while Jibri was traveling in Serbia, although they didn’t spend much time together in person before doing so. Jibri prides himself on being unconventional and standing apart from the crowd, often wearing brightly colored clothes and dazzling cowboy hats. He lives in Rapid City, South Dakota with both of his parents, where Miona joined them.

Through Jibri and Miona’s storyline, viewers learned about Jibri’s band, Black Serbs. Jibri formed the band with his good friends Daveed, Brandi and Space Cash, and they create what Jibri calls space punk music, a mix of punk rock and electronic beats. In fact, Jibri was touring Serbia with the Black Serbs when he first met Miona. Although the group is featured on the show, it appears that the group is currently inactive, as they last posted on social media in January 2020.

In a recent Instagram post, Jibri revealed to his followers that he quit a high-paying job at a real estate agency to pursue his music career. Jibri explains that in 2017, he was working in real estate in Chicago, but his considerable income did not bring him joy. “I made the most money I ever had on paper…but I was miserable,” the 90 day fiance said the star on Instagram. Because he was so unhappy, Jibri decided that this would be the last time he stayed in a job he didn’t like. Jibri’s heart has always been in the music industry, so that’s what he ultimately decided to pursue.

Jibri continued his story by saying that he is proud of himself for where he is with his music, even though he still has a lot of things he would like to accomplish. Jibri also took the time to dedicate the post to his followers, telling them to never stop chasing their dreams and expressing his pride in them. “As cliché as it sounds, if you have a dream, put gasoline on that fire!“, he said to encourage fans. While Jibri has been involved in his fair share of controversy on 90 Day Fiance, it’s clear that he’s very dedicated and driven when it comes to his music career, which fans respect.

Jibri is not the first 90 day fiance cast member to use the show as a platform for his music. Evelyn Cormier, who appeared on 90 day fiance season 5, continued to develop her singing career after the show, even appearing on american idol season 17. The infamous Usman “Sojaboy” Umar also gained a large following through his time in the franchise during 90 day fiancé: before 90 days seasons 4 and 5. Although Jibri is still new to the 90 day fiance franchise, fans can expect to see more music from him both on and off screen.
