Two Arkansas men inflicted multiple STIs on girl after raping her

Two Arkansas men confessed to raping a 6-year-old girl after a hospital discovered she suffered from several sexually transmitted diseases.

Demarcus George, 27, and Mario Waters, 33, admitted at a hearing in federal court in Little Rock last week that they had sexual contact with the little girl and were involved in human trafficking. sexual purposes, prosecutors said.

The pair have pleaded guilty to conspiring to sexually traffic the girl in a plea deal that will overturn their upcoming jury trial and save the 6-year-old from having to testify.

Authorities looked into George and Waters after the girl was taken to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in February 2018 with symptoms that doctors later determined were caused by STIs.

The girl then told FBI investigators that George and Waters raped her in a hotel room, prosecutors said.

Blood and urine samples from the two men showed they both tested positive for the STIs the little girl had contracted.

Meanwhile, investigators also located the Little Rock hotel where the offenses took place based on descriptions provided by the victim, including that a curtain was in the middle of the room and that a specific photo was hanging on the wall.

Hotel financial records showed the girl’s mother, who has since lost custody of the child, paid for a room with a credit card in March 2018.

“The unspeakable crimes committed against this child are a reminder of how vital it is for law enforcement to be ready to investigate and put an end to these horrific actions,” Acting U.S. Attorney Jonathan D. Ross said in a statement.

“These guilty pleas will prevent the young victim from having to relive her experience on the witness stand during a trial.

The two men, who face life imprisonment, will be sentenced at a later date.
